Not that I was needing any reminders this morning, I woke up in a buoyant and grateful mood, always good to start your day like that and then I received a newsletter from Carole Ann Rice that made me smile and included this magical clip.

I am often asked "why did you choose Phoenix Potential?" as your business name.  The Phoenix is a bird in Egyptian mythology that lived in the desert for five hundred years and then consumed itself by fire, later to rise renewed from its ashes.

Writers Block

When I was at school I drove my teachers to despair by going through countless exercise books but never handing in any work.  Because I wanted my work to be neat I ripped out pages that didn't meet my idea of being 'good enough'.  Eventually the teachers resorted to numbering my pages, which then meant I was fearful of writing anything down in case I made a mistake that I would not be able to rectify!
